Engraving with CO2 laser, also known as soft engraving is basically used for non-metalic materials like glass, leather, wood, fabrics, foams and plastics. This technique also allow to cut materials, which means that marking products is one option and creating them is another.
A good example of this technology is cutting out letters and shapes from plexi or PVC to create company logos for buildings or various elements for product stands.
Laser engraving is most often used to mark calendars, notepads, signs and wooden products.
